Herbal Winter Woodland Wellness Workshop with Herbalist Jessie Martelhof
Join experienced forager and qualified Herbalist Jessie Martelhof for a cosy winter woodland workshop exploring herbal remedies for immune support and winter wellness as well as exploring the season of winter; what it means to us, how we can make the most of this time of year and how we can stay well physically and mentally during the darker months. You will learn about which wild plants are still growing at this time of year and how they can be foraged and used medicinally. You will make your own herbal remedy for winter wellbeing to take home and taste a variety of herbal teas including some made from wild plants which grow in and around the woodland site.
We tend to spend more time indoors at this time of year but winter can be a beautiful time to step out and experience the natural world. We still see lots of plants and birds at this time and there is a unique stillness to the woodland at this time which can be lovely to experience.
There will be a fire and plentiful hot drinks throughout the workshop to keep everyone comfortable and warm.

Aims for this herbal remedy-making, foraging and reflections workshop:
- Learn how to identify wild, woodland plants that can be foraged in the season.
- Discussion about how foraged plants can be used medicinally.
- A chance to reflect on the season of Winter and connect with nature.
