As practitioners you are expected to assess the ecological impact of running Forest School Programmes on own site and use the ecological impact assessment to create a three year management plan for the sustainable use of own Forest School site and to enhance biodiversity.
You will improve this area of knowledge over time. It is often seen as good practice to monitor your Forest School space for a year before changing anything. It is important to build your own knowledge and relationship to the space or bioregion you are working in.
With the young people, you can co-create ways of implementing your groups ideas that would be documented in your Management Plan.
