Marina Robb and Jon Cree have just had their new book published, The Essential Guide to Forest School and Nature Pedagogy.
This webinar, launching the book will concentrate on how nature underpins the real-life cycles of human health, learning and development.
We will challenge our linear reductive education and health system and look at ways of introducing a more embodied circular approach to practice. We will concentrate on the importance of how nature connection increases wellbeing, learning and development.
This will include:
*The values that underpin nature pedagogy.
* Introduction to nature-centric models.
* Ways of working with craft, plants, animals, and the elements.
* Examples of practice within education and health and how we can work together in the natural world.
*We will explore how this person-centred, holistic, integrated, and playful approach can bring about positive change in our learner, clients and the natural world.
