You will be learning with expert FSA-endorsed trainer Marina Robb
Our tutors are dedicated, experienced and, best of all, have up-to-date knowledge of Forest School and outdoor learning, as well as issues relating to mental health and the outdoors. The course is led by Circle of Life Rediscovery Director Marina Robb plus supported by Mark Lloyd, Helen Stringfellow, and other specialist trainers.
In case you didn’t already know Marina Robb is an author of two outdoor learning books, The Wild Minds podcast host and a national expert in nature-based educational and therapeutic interventions. She has extensive experience in the development of the Forest School movement, and is an endorsed trainer for the Forest School Association.
You get to experience in-person training at our beautiful woodland site
The practical days take place across the seasons at our stunning woodland site in East Sussex so you can experience the woodland and nature throughout different times of the year.
You will have access to a huge library of online resources for learning at your own pace
Our online resource allows you to learn at your own pace and new for 2025, this course includes lifetime access to The Outdoor Teacher’s Forest School Activities Online Training Course taught by Circle of Life Rediscovery founder, author and trainer Marina Robb. Regular cost £297 +VAT.
You gain ongoing support from your community and our teachers
We get it, starting a new learning journey can be daunting but we find our groups of students naturally form a strong community that support each other throughout the year. You will also have direct access to our tutors and our wider Circle of Life Rediscovery network to support you along the way.
Upon completion, you will be ITC Level 3 Certified and have the skills, confidence and qualification to run your own Forest School
The ITC Level 3 Certificate for Forest School Leaders provides a complete foundation to working in nature with groups of children of all ages and capabilities.
Once qualified, you’ll be able to take out groups of young people, families and adults outdoors, enabling them to discover the natural world, and increase their learning, confidence and sense of wellbeing.
