Opening Speech, Call of the Wild
The introductory speech for the launch of the film Call of the Wild: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmKOyFJCzqs Written by Emma, a young person who participated in the project. I’ve been asked to write a speech today about the woodland projects in partnership with CAMHS and Circle of Life Rediscovery. I want to share with you what these woodland projects mean to me. A Poem, for you.
A poem written by a young woman who participated in the Call of the Wild project about her year, 2012. The end of 2012 is fast approaching, could this have been the worst year yet? So much has happened… So many laughs yet so many tears, so many positives, yet so many negatives. The dominating question in my head is why? I thought 2012 was supposed to be the best year yet? Volunteer Feedback from 2012
Why did you volunteer? For the experience, and I wanted to contribute. I am very interested in conversation. I read about CLR and thought it sounded amazing and worthwhile. The results show that this kind of work

What do you think are the benefits of this type of work for young people & families? I think the main thing they gain from being out in the open gives young people freedom. There are no confinements of being stuck in a

Project Wild Thing: Me, The Barrier – Guest Blog
Me – The Barrier When I ask my children why they would rather watch TV than go outside, they say that television is more fun. But what is fun for a 3 and a 5-year-old? Their tastes are hugely influenced by my tastes. They emulate me, poor things. And I love screens. So when I complain about the barriers that stop them from playing in the big wide world, could it be that I am
